INTRODUCING
THE AVAILABILITY OF SINGLE FIGURES AS USED IN THE DIORAMA.
For
the past six months AQM have been working on a specially commissioned diorama of
‘Now Maitland! Now’s your Time’ This meant that many extra figures
not in existence had to be made. The finished diorama 4 feet by 20 inches
is now wending its way overseas.
On
seeing the photographs sent over the internet the customers remarks were......
"Wow !!! That’s
really terrific, Derek! What a spectacular diorama. You really have surpassed
yourself, thanks so much!"
This
diorama is a ‘one off ’ and will not be repeated as such. The compliments
expressed are a tribute to the whole design team at AQM and the high standard of
the work achieved.
Now,
as well as being able to purchase the standard VBFG ‘ Now Maitland! Now’s
Your Time!’ finished figures are available singly or in groups supplied ready
pegged to
make your own vignettes, dioramas or just groups, or as an alternative supplied
with small bases.
Figures
of Guardsmen firing and left shoulder position are available.
Officers, Adjutant (centre company) Light and Grenadier company's
all three figures are different.
Colour Sergeants (two different),
Sergeants centre, grenadier and light + RSM.
King's Colour with ensign and Regimental with ensign.
Drummers.
Mounted figures Maitland and Wellington.
Standing Royal Artillery, Officer and three different gunners,
A 6 or 9 pdr. cannon with broken wheel having taken a hit, with two
dead
and one badly wounded gunner.
A limber is available
Various dead French cavalry figures and horses are available.

Part 2 The “OLD GUARD ATTACKS”!
Figures
of the 3 rd Chasseurs a pied of the Imperial Guard advancing ‘on
guard’ or ‘at ready’ positions wearing habit (uniform coat) or overcoat with
bearskin cap. Variations include chapeau or bonnet de police.
Chasseurs at ‘left shoulder
arms’ musket position advancing (variations as above).
Chasseurs firing musket .
Chasseurs ‘Vive L’Empereur’ …. Holding musket high with bearskin and/or chapeau
on end of bayonet.
Two different arm positions available.
Chasseur extracting cartridge from cartouche .
Chasseurs falling wounded …. 24 different positions available.
Sergeants ……. 4 different figures available plus 2 falling wounded in differing
positions.
